My love of cooking and feeding people has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Most of my earliest memories are of eating, cooking, and sharing food. My recent memories and constant thoughts always involve food!!I have always loved traveling to different parts of the world and exploring cultures through food. Like a delicious meal, these interactions and experiences create a lingering effect, one that you want to share and enjoy and be inspired by forever.
I grew up cooking, eating and enjoying the visual experience of food from the raw ingredients to how preparations transformed them. Traveling always provided me with inspiration... from learning new flavors and techniques to the incredible experience of connecting with people, using our shared language of food and flavors.
Growing up in an Italian household gave me an early sense of gathering around the table as a beautiful ritual to share food and time together.
My love of food has taken me to many parts of the world, eating and studying many cuisines. I am a self-taught cook and my work experience is as diverse as the ingredients I like to use, and includes chef, consultant and teacher. I draw on my travel experiences to create dishes that are full of fresh, lively flavors, using a cross-cultural approach to combining ingredients.
